Internal Manholes designed for drainage systems located below ground underneath or suspended within structural slabs that are situated inside the internal footprint of a building or structure.

Engineered for the transmission of process & trade effluent fluids and gases in corrosive, bio-hazardous & high temperature applications the manholes are the industry standard for specialist hospital, chemical, TEW and pharmaceutical drainage. Equally internal manholes are widely used for general foul water, surface water, rain water and storm water internal building drainage.

Fully sealed, fluid and gas tight and manufactured from hygienic, self cleansing thermoplastic materials that are highly corrosion & bio-fouling resistant.

Bespoke circular or rectangular internal manholes are available with dimensions, configurations, & branch connections supplied to suit project specific requirements. A range of optional benching, step irons, cover formworks and shuttering components are available as required.

External manholes

External Manhole

Pipex External Manholes are designed for adoptable foul and surface water drainage in external areas beyond the footprint of a building or structure where the system is to be vested in and maintained by Sewerage Undertakers.

Manufactured as required in compliance to Sewers for Scotland & Sewers for Adoption the externail manhole range is approved to 6 metres depth by British Board of Agreement & Water Research Council and widely used by most UK water companies.

Traditional brick & pre-cast concrete external manholes are often problematic to seal, incur additional site costs when constructed in areas with poor ground conditions & can have poor quality internal benching finishes leading to unsatisfactory performance during operational service. Pipex External Manholes are the approved solution, factory manufactured in robust corrosion resistant thermoplastic materials.
