Pipex FASTBUILD™ Catch Pits & Silt Pits are suitable for silt, surface water debris & bio-matter catchments requirements in SUDS surface water drainage systems & sewers. Pipex Catch-Pit Chambers provide significant fast track construction advantages when compared to traditional pre-cast concrete and brick material chamber options. Chambers can be supplied with integral storm water channel connections built in.
The catch pits and silt pits are factory constructed offsite, bespoke to match the precise specifications of our customers with typical systems design parameters available, for further project specific analysis & confirmation by Pipex, including:
• SIZES: circular chambers are available from 450mmØ to 4000mmØ and to 6 metres depth as standard, rectangular chambers from 450mm x 450mm to 1200mm x 750mm and to 3 metres depth as standard. Non-standard sizes & modular assemblies available as required.
• CONFIGURATIONS: bespoke as required including factory mounting of filters and storm water channel connections.
• ACCREDITATIONS: Pipex Catch-Pit Chambers are unique in holding British Board of Agrément certification (BBA 02/3927) in accordance with the stringent structural integrity, impact resistance and durability tests required for compliance BS EN 13598; please see our downloads page for details.
• MATERIALS: The chambers are engineered from robust, corrosion resistant thermoplastic polypropylene (PP-H) or high density polyethylene (HDPE) materials.
