Chemical Trade Effluent Waste Storage Tank



Pipex supply, factory fabrication and on site installation of 1 No. 14 M long x 2.5 M diameter HDPE tank which once installed on site, will be used to hold storm water as part of a storm attenuation system. The tanks were supplied to site with two pump sets with guide rails and lifting chains to assist with the lifting of the heavy pump sets.

In conjunction with the tank, Pipex also provided all the associated HDPE pipe work and PP-H valves which will complete the storm attenuation system.

A second Pipex division, Pipex Structural Composites Ltd, supplied and pre-fabricated an extendable FRP ladder for the storm attenuation tank to ensure easy access.

The tank was supplied to site in Suffolk in two sections due to the 14 M length; these two sections were then welded together on site by Pipex.
